Each jacket is individually adjusted to fit your specific book edition and language.

🌑 ONE DARK WINDOW

The front features Elspeth Spindle and Ravyn Yew in the dark, mist-covered world of Blunder, with the ruined gothic window and Providence Card imagery reflecting the eerie atmosphere of the story.

Ravyn and Elspeth work together to collect the Providence Cards needed to break the curse surrounding the kingdom, while Elspeth hides a much darker secret: the Nightmare living inside her mind.

👑 TWO TWISTED CROWNS

The second design features Ione Hawthorn and Elm Rowan, whose relationship becomes one of the central threads of the sequel.

The intertwined crowns in the foreground reference the royal conflict surrounding Elm, while the pink magical accents nod to Ione’s Maiden Card, which plays an important role in her story.

🖤 CONNECTING SPINES

The two spines join together to create one portrait of Elspeth.

On One Dark Window, she appears as herself, with her natural dark eye.

On Two Twisted Crowns, the second half shows her with the Nightmare’s influence taking over, including the distinctive yellow, cat-like eye with a dark vertical pupil. This is accurate to the story: when the Nightmare grows stronger and eventually takes control, Elspeth’s eyes turn yellow and become distinctly feline.
